Pesto is one of my favorite sauces for pasta. I narrowed down many recipies and found the most simple and flavorful. All it requites is a blender.
Ingredients:
-1 cup Basil
-1/4 cup Pine Nuts
-1/3 cup Parmesan Cheese
-3-4 cloves of garlic
-Extra Virgin Olive Oil
First add everything but the oil to a blender and pulse a few times.
Slowly pour in the EVOO until you see a consistency you like. If you like a chunky pesto add less and if you like it creamy add more.
Once it is evenly all mixed you can add this onto of pasta, onto a panini, or jar up and save in the refrigerator.
